Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera's patient-focused settings.

Job Summary


  • The Registered Nurse in Dialysis is accountable for providing care and treatment, within the scope of nursing practice, to patients on maintenance dialysis.

Education and/or Experience


  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
  • Dialysis, Med/Surg, CCU, or Emergency Unit experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration


  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota required upon hire.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 3 months of hire.
  • Nephrology certification preferred.

Work Schedule


  • Two 12 hour shifts per week (shifts begin at 4 a.m. and 7 a.m. - staff alternate shifts)
  • Every third weekend, occasional holiday;
  • 48hrs/2wks

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
