Job Summary
- The Registered Nurse in Dialysis is accountable for providing care and treatment, within the scope of nursing practice, to patients on maintenance dialysis.
Education and/or Experience
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
- Dialysis, Med/Surg, CCU, or Emergency Unit experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota required upon hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 3 months of hire.
- Nephrology certification preferred.
Work Schedule
- Two 12 hour shifts per week (shifts begin at 4 a.m. and 7 a.m. - staff alternate shifts)
- Every third weekend, occasional holiday;
- 48hrs/2wks
